The impact of the coronavirus at a glance

The coronavirus (COVID-19) has required global leaders to act quickly and efficiently to get one step ahead of the pandemic. The measures taken to contain the virus have impacted the whole of society, including the way in which the public, private, and voluntary and community sectors are supported through this turbulent period.

To help compensate for the economic damage caused by these measures, the UK government are making specialised budgets and emergency funds available to those organisations that need it most. These budgets translate, among other things, into new or adapted financing programs and funding schemes.
