Funding to Help Young or Disadvantaged People in Communities Worldwide

Provided by Scott Bader Commonwealth Ltd, the charitable arm of the Scott Bader Group, the Central Fund offers grants of up to £25,000 annually to support two to four large, community-based projects that will help to fulfil the company’s 2036 Vision and Goals and that focus on:

Education and Legacy – investing in the education, training and development of local people to help them become agents for change, spreading the values of Scott Bader.

Social and Environmental Impact – responding to the most pressing social and environmental needs within the local areas the company operates in, especially those of young people and those facing poverty, disability, and disadvantage.

Foundation and Incubation – leveraging skills, resources and networks via consulting, in-kind help and funding to assist scientific and socially-driven organisations supporting the above.

Applications are accepted from any UK registered charities. Projects may take place anywhere in the world but those based near to the Scott Bader operations are particularly welcomed.

The deadline for applications to the Central Fund is 8 February 2019.
