Grants and supplementary support are available to small and medium businesses in Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, and Wolverhampton to support the understanding and adoption of energy efficiency measures to cut carbon, as part of the wider UK Shared Prosperity Fund programme.

The scheme forms part of the Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) which is is offering free energy assessments to small businesses in the local area.

The assessments will provide recommendations for energy reduction, helping to reduce costs. Then after a business has undertaken an energy assessment then there will be an opportunity to apply for a grant for commercial and industrial SMEs to facilitate investment in energy efficiency measures.
