Wellbeing Project Funding for Scotland’s Adult Social Care Workforce

A new £1 million fund is inviting applications.

Funding is available to public, private and voluntary organisations in Scotland’s adult social work and social care sector to support projects which look after the wellbeing of staff.

The Workforce Wellbeing Fund for Adult Social Work and Social Care is being managed by Inspiring Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Government. Applications will be accepted from public, private and voluntary organisations delivering adult social work and social care in Scotland, and membership organisations that directly support the wellbeing of adult social work and social care staff.

Eligible costs include purchasing items or carrying out activities that will help to improve the wellbeing of adult social work and social care staff, including social work students.

The fund has a total value of £1 million. Two types of grant are available:

  • Grants of up to a maximum of £5,000 for immediate impact projects (those which take no more than six months to deliver).
  • Grants of up to a maximum of £10,000 for activities which will have a more sustainable impact on staff wellbeing.

All funding must be spent by 31 March 2023.

The deadline for applications is noon on 29 July 2022.
