Wales – Community Anchor Development Programme

Grants and a programme of support are available to local community organisations in designated areas of Wales with low levels of community assets, to help them become stronger and better placed to face future challenges.
The funding is intended to support anchor organisations that play a central role in their communities to become more resilient in addressing future challenges. Based on experiences from the Invest Local programme, the aim is to enable more communities to benefit from having such local organisations.
The Community Anchor Development Programme is designed for participants to develop their capacity according to their specific needs, whether through income generation, asset development, business planning, governance, communication, or broader community engagement.
