Virgin Money Launches £200m Agri E Fund to Help Farmers Achieve Net Zero

Loans are available to farmers across the UK, supporting the industry’s need to adapt in order to reduce carbon emissions.

The Agri E Fund is a new scheme launched by Virgin Money, supporting farmers in the UK to reduce their on-farm emissions and transition to net zero.

The fund will provide low cost loans for farmers to invest in suitable adaptations to their businesses.

A total of £200 million is available. 0% arrangement fees can be provided when farmers complete a carbon audit and are looking to borrow over £50,000.

Loans are for emission reducing initiatives, such as renewable energy, energy efficiency initiatives or activities that reduce greenhouse gases.

Applications are now invited. No deadline has been set.
