Grants are available for community groups across the island of Ireland to support initiatives that harness the power of civil society to transform democratic decision-making processes.
The funding is intended to support civil society groups in contributing to a ‘high energy democracy’ by engaging in participative and deliberative democracy initiatives to transform decision-making processes.
It also aims to enable the development of progressive platforms for collective power and influence, using values-based approaches to identify elements of transformative change, and creating inclusive spaces for participation and voice, particularly for marginalised communities.
