Sport Northern Ireland – Sports Systems Investment: New Governing Bodies

Grants are available to recognised sports bodies in Northern Ireland who are otherwise ineligible to apply for funding through the Sports System Investment: Governing Bodies element of National Lottery funding.
The funding is intended to invest in new sports governing bodies to contribute to the delivery of the following outcomes:
- Building a positive and inclusive sports culture, recognising the rights of everyone to access and participate in sport.
- Retaining a duty of care to all those engaged in the Sporting System.
- Promoting wellness and wellbeing.
- Targeting sport in rural communities, in disadvantaged areas and with underrepresented groups.
