Scottish Enterprise Launches Green Heat Hub Grand Challenge

Grants are available to industry, academia, and consortia for innovative projects to create and grow expertise in green heat manufacturing in Scotland.

The Green Heat Hub Grand Challenge is delivered by Scottish Enterprise in partnership with the Scottish Government, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise.

The Challenge is designed to create a hub of expertise in green heat manufacturing in Scotland by supporting innovative collaborative projects by businesses, academia and other organisations operating in the industry.

Grants of up to £75,000 are available, which can be used to help consortium complete their full project proposal. Eligible costs include personnel costs, consultancy fees, material costs and market assessment. Travel and subsistence costs can also be funded.

Lead consortium applicants must be businesses or academic institutions based in Scotland. Consortium members can include research and technology companies, colleges, public sector agencies and third sector organisations.

Applicants must complete and submit a pre-proposal form by the deadline of 18 November 2022 (17:00 GMT).
