Sandwell – Peer Support Grants

Grants are available to voluntary and community sector organisations for the delivery of peer support to families across Sandwell.
Grants are available to voluntary and community sector organisations supporting parents (from conception and with children up to the age of two years) to access services.
The objective of the grant programme is to achieve the following outcomes:
- Families feel more supported and aware of local services.
- Families who are impacted by domestic abuse, neglect or mental health are identified at the earliest
- opportunity.
- Families are supported to reduce parent conflict within their relationship.
- Families have improved access to local support services and groups.
- Fathers and father figures feel more included in their children’s development and well-being.
- Reduced distress and anxiety and increase in parent’s confidence and well-being.
- Parents gaining empowerment, self-esteem and self-efficacy.
- Improved parent and child attachment and parent-infant relationship.
- Children have the best start to life.
- Reduced social isolation.
