Postcode Recovery Fund Opens for Applications

Charities can apply for grants of between £500,000 and £1 million from a £3 million funding pot to support high impact and original projects.

Priority areas for support include educational inequalities, homelessness, domestic violence, health and wellbeing, poverty, social exclusion and isolation. Applications where there are other clear benefits to the community will also be considered.

Projects must be delivered within Great Britain in 2021-2023.

Applications will be considered from:

Charities in Great Britain, who are registered with the Charity Commission or with OSCR.

Charities who have an annual income at least twice the amount that is being applied for (i.e. if applying for £500,000 then the lead applicant must have an income of at least £1 million and if applying for £1 million then the lead applicant must have an income of at least £2 million as evidenced by their latest audited accounts).

The funding comes from the Postcode Dream Trust which was created to provide opportunities for charities to deliver their dream projects through collaboration. The Trust’s work has been realigned this year to support COVID-19 recovery efforts.

Applications will be accepted from 1 October until 30 October 2020.
