Pathways Pre-start Fund

Funding is available for Scotland based organisations providing support for people in Scotland who are thinking about taking the first steps towards creating a start-up company.
The Pathways Pre-Start Fund aims to bring more people in Scotland into entrepreneurship by offering pre-start business support.
The Fund will also aim to reach people who might not otherwise consider entrepreneurship and business start-up, encouraging new entrepreneurial talent. The aim is to widen participation in business from people in groups historically under-represented in entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on closing the gender gap.
Pre-Start is primarily about developing people, supporting development of entrepreneurial skills and mindset, inspiring, educating and connecting future entrepreneurs. It will deliver services, support, mentoring and advice to people in ways that are flexible and accessible, in terms of location, timing and content.
