One-off grants are available for sports projects in Newport that will improve the health and well-being of residents.
Grants are available to the voluntary sector, social enterprises and other organisations in Newport for sports related projects.
The aim of the grant is to support and promote:
- Local sports facilities, tournaments, teams and leagues to bring people together.
- Impactful volunteering and/or social action projects to develop social and human capital in local places.
- Capacity building and infrastructure for the benefit of local civil society and community groups.
