National Centre for Resilience – Knowledge Mobilisation Fund

The funding is intended to support community focused collaborative research on resilience to natural hazards in Scotland.

Projects must focus on the following outcomes:

• Community collaboration – nurture cooperation between UK academics and local communities within Scotland to encourage practice-based initiatives focused on building resilience to natural hazards.
• Knowledge mobilisation – the outcomes of the project must be effectively communicable in policy and practice.
• Scalability and sharing – scalable elements and shareable insights that can be communicated to other relevant stakeholders to advance further resilience building.
• Influencing policy – research outcomes that can inform evidence-based policy and decision making in relation to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery in Scotland.
