National Centre for Resilience – Knowledge Mobilisation Fund

Grants are available to academics connected with UK academic institutions for community centred research projects focused on building resilience to natural hazards within Scotland.
The funding is intended to support community focused collaborative research on resilience to natural hazards in Scotland.
Projects must focus on the following outcomes:
- Community collaboration – nurture cooperation between UK academics and local communities within Scotland to encourage practice-based initiatives focused on building resilience to natural hazards.
- Knowledge mobilisation – the outcomes of the project must be effectively communicable in policy and practice.
- Scalability and sharing – scalable elements and shareable insights that can be communicated to other relevant stakeholders to advance further resilience building.
- Influencing policy – research outcomes that can inform evidence-based policy and decision making in relation to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery in Scotland.
