Launch of Scottish Ecosystem Fund to Drive Entrepreneurial Growth

Grants are available for organisations across the private, public and third sectors to help inspire more entrepreneurs in Scotland to start or scale up their businesses.

The Ecosystem Fund is designed to support organisations and activities facilitating the growth and development of the Scottish entrepreneurial network by delivering high impact projects during 2023-24.

The Fund will help support Scottish entrepreneurs to access the resources, knowledge, connections, and capital needed to thrive.

Proposals are invited from ecosystem partners and intermediary organisations. Ideas to help deliver innovative and inclusive entrepreneurship activities across Scotland and internationally are sought.

Grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 are on offer. In special circumstances, a limited number of higher awards may be available if the proposal demonstrates clear strategic economic importance and impact.

Applications are invited from private, public or third sector bodies that are in a position to help boost entrepreneurial activity in Scotland. Eligible organisations include industry associations and non-profits, universities, colleges and education/training providers, and established companies delivering new partnership projects with start-ups.

The deadline for applications is 25 September 2023 (13:00 BST).
