Ireland’s Coca-Cola Thank You Fund 2023 Opens for Applications (NI and ROI)

Non-profit youth organisations across the island of Ireland can apply now for funding to support community-based projects focused on empowering young people (16 to 25) through learning, inclusion and sustainable development.

Coca-Cola Ireland established the Thank You Fund in 2011 to mark the Coca-Cola Company’s 125th anniversary. Each year there is a different theme and different partners.

Along with a new theme this year, the size of the fund has doubled in size from €100,000 to €200,000, and the fund is being managed by the Irish Youth Foundation.

The 2023 programme is offering grants of either €5,000 or €10,000 to support projects that focus on the overall theme: Empowering Young People Through Learning, Inclusion & Sustainable Development.

The funding is for not-for-profit, voluntary or charitable organisations based and working on the island of Ireland whose proposed project can show impact in one of the following three areas:

  • Empowering young people at risk of low education attainment to access pathways to meaningful opportunities for the future
  • Empowering young people to challenge how they are currently engaging with the theme of sustainability in their lives through education, action and/or awareness building
  • Empowering young people to engage in and promote inclusive practise in their community.

The funding can be used to cover costs associated with running programmes, such as buying materials, venue hire, facilitator costs, staff time etc.

The deadline for applications is 15 June 2023 (18:00).
