Interreg France-Channel-England Programme Announces €50 million Funding Pot

Interreg France (Channel) England has announced that it has a €50 million funding pot remaining for projects. Exiting the European Union with a deal means that funding through the Programme is guaranteed for partners on both sides of the Channel for the lifetime of projects, and applicants with an idea for a project are therefore being urged not to miss out.

Projects can continue with activities through into 2023, but forming a partnership, applying and launching a project all takes time, so potential applicants are advised to get in touch with one of the local facilitators based across the north of France and south of England, who can help to develop ideas and find partners for projects.

Projects should aim to bring about improvements in one of the following areas: innovation, social innovation, low carbon technologies, natural and cultural heritage, or coastal and transitional water ecosystems.

To give applicants an extra chance to apply for funding, the Programme will also be launching some new Call dates through 2020 and beyond.
