Charities, community groups, and social enterprises can apply for small grants to deliver cash or vouchers to families and individuals on low incomes to meet pressing needs such as food, household items, or clothing.

Corra Foundation is offering grants of between £500 and £5,000 for charities, community groups, and social enterprises across Scotland to provide direct support to families and low-income individuals.

Through the Household Hardship Fund, a total of £1 million has been made available to groups and organisations to provide cash or vouchers to meet pressing needs, including:

  • Food.
  • Fuel.
  • Household items.
  • Warm clothing.
  • Other essential items.

Groups that have an annual turnover of less than £100,000, strong local relationships with people in their community, and a proven track record of supporting people on low incomes, can apply.

Applicants should demonstrate how they will reach families and individuals and have a clear plan to distribute cash or vouchers. All funding must be passed on to families and individuals by 30 June 2023.

This fund will open to applications on 22 November 2022.
