Funding to Support Scotland’s Third Sector During Coronavirus Crisis
Funding to Support Scotland’s Third Sector During Coronavirus Crisis
The new Third Sector Resilience Fund (TSRF) will provide grants of between £5,000 and £100,000 to support charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises across the third sector who are at risk of closure due to a sharp decrease in income or that are unable to deliver their services during this difficult period.
The fund will distribute £20 million of emergency funds over the coming months to third sector organisations working in Scotland that already deliver services and products but find themselves in financial difficulties directly as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The primary intention of the fund is to help third sector organisations to stabilise and manage cash flows over this difficult period.
Third sector organisations can apply now for grants of between £5,000 and £100,000 as well as loans of £50,000 and above. Please note for funding needs over £50,000, the fund may recommend a grant, a loan, or a mix of grant and loan funding.
There are no deadlines. Applications are currently being accepted.
