Funding to Support Local Health Walks Across Scotland

Groups working in Scotland can apply for funding to support local health walks and increase and diversify the number of people taking part in health walks.

Paths for All is offering grants of up to £7,500 for a range of groups across Scotland to increase the number and diversity of people taking part in local health walks.

The Walking for Health Fund will support projects and activities that:

  • Diversify and increase the number of new participants taking part in Health Walks in Scotland.
  • Increase the amount of physical activity undertaken by people in Scotland (especially those experiencing inequality).
  • Improve well-being and reduce ill-health.

Groups must be a member of the Scottish Health Walk Network to apply.

The next deadline for applications is 31 January 2023.
