Funding to Deliver Gambling Education and Prevention Projects Across Scotland

Groups of young people supported by a community group or educational institution across Scotland can apply for funding to deliver projects and activities that promote gambling awareness and prevention.

Fast Forward and the Scottish Gambling Education Hub are offering grants of up to £1,000 for groups of young people aged between 12 and 25 that are supported and facilitated by a Scottish community project, organisation, or educational institution to deliver gambling awareness, education, and prevention projects.

Through the Gambling Education Youth Fund, groups of young people will be enabled to transform their ideas into action and creation their local projects that aim to increase the awareness and understanding of gambling-related issues.

Funding can be used for reasonable expenses used in the course of delivering a project, such as:

  • Materials or technology needed for the project.
  • Training to learn new skills.
  • Food and refreshments for participants.

An adult staff member, such as a youth worker, teacher, or support staff, must be responsible for project delivery and any monies that are awarded.

Applications from groups run by or including LGBTQ+ communities, religious, cultural, or faith-based communities, and people with disabilities are welcomed.

Applications can be submitted at any time.
