Funding for Skills Development and Sustainability Projects Across the UK

Funding to support skills development or sustainability projects that benefit local communities in the UK.

Ocado Foundation for Good is offering grants of up to £1,000 to charities, charitable companies, and local authorities to support skills and education development and promote sustainability in communities across the UK.

The fund aims to support ‘the many not the few’ and to help develop a sustainable strategy for the future based on the Foundation’s three pillars of corporate responsibility:

  • Skills for the future.
  • Natural resources.
  • Responsible sourcing.

Applications will be accepted from a range of organisations including:

  • Charitable incorporated organisations (CIOs).
  • Community interest companies (CICs).
  • Charitable trusts.
  • Academic institutions.
  • Local authorities.
  • Charitable companies.

Proposals should align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals adopted by this programme. These are:

  • Good health and wellbeing.
  • Quality education.
  • Decent work and economic growth.
  • Reduced inequalities.
  • Responsible consumption and production.
  • Climate action.

Volunteer support is also available, as well as certain in-kind goods on request. Owing to COVID-19 restrictions, only applications for digital volunteering activities will be accepted.

The deadline for applications is 31 December 2021.
