Funding for New Approaches to Road Safety

In 2020 the Road Safety Trust is inviting applications for projects that address the theme of “How can technology be used to reduce road offending and improve road safety?”

Public and professional UK organisations can apply for grants of up to £200,000, available over a period of up to three years.

The main objective of the project should be to help protect vulnerable road users. Eligible projects should focus on engineering, infrastructure and technological measures, while recognising the contribution of education and enforcement to these measures.

The funding can be used for:

Evidence reviews.

Trials.

Evaluations.

Support for the profession through guidance or other resources.

The deadline for applications is 14 May 2020.
