Funding for Ideas to Help Northern Ireland’s Families Adjust to Remote Working

Arts & Business NI has released further investment opportunities for arts organisations with the launch of the Remote Family Engagement Seed Fund.

The funder realises that combining home schooling and ensuring children are entertained whilst working remotely has been a challenge for many, whilst adjusting to life during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. In response to this, Arts & Business NI has issued a request to arts organisations, challenging them to put their creativity and problem solving abilities to work, to create a product idea which could alleviate this problem.

This fund will allow arts organisations and individual practitioners to develop a range of relevant and timely resources to assist the families of business employees as they adjust to their new living and working arrangements.

Awards of between £500 and £1,000 will be provided to a range of separate arts organisations and individual practitioners in Northern Ireland. The funds can be used to develop work and can include equipment and/or time.

Applicants should be aware when applying that they must be able to roll out their product from early May 2020.

To apply, applicants should submit their bids to Adam Bradley at a.bradley@artsandbusinessni.org.uk by Friday 24 April 2020 (17:00 BST).
