Funding for Community Projects to Tackle Ocean Plastics

A UK-wide fund is inviting applications.

Funding is available to UK-based marine conservation charities and not-for-profit organisations who wish to run projects aimed at tackling the issue of ocean plastics.

The funding stream forms part of the Main Grants programme provided by Sea-Changers, a UK charity that works to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural marine environment and promote marine biodiversity.

The Tackling Ocean Plastics Fund specifically aims to address the increasing problem of plastics which are damaging the marine environment and the species that call it home.

Applications will be accepted from marine conservation charities and not-for-profit organisations, including schools, based and working in the UK.

Grants of up to £1,200 are available.

The deadline for Main Grants applications is 30 September 2021.
