This fund aims to help small to medium-sized UK businesses focused on accelerating the adoption of commercially ready solutions in the UK freight sector.
The Freight Innovation Fund Accelerator is a multi-faceted programme which will accelerate the adoption of commercially ready solutions into the UK freight sector. It aims to help up to 10 small and medium enterprises (SMES) develop new ways to make freight greener, more efficient and more resilient.
Programme challenges:
- Frequent use heavy machinery.
- Containment solutions and related light technologies.
- Temporary intermodal interchanges and depots.
- Micromobility and e-mobility.
