First Details of Cultural Bridge Fund 2024-25 Programme (UK)

Funding to build new relationships and foster artistic collaboration between the UK and Germany.

Cultural Bridge Fund is an investment programme between all UK arts councils and leading German cultural institutions that supports the development of cross-border partnerships.

Applications will open for the 2024-25 programme in mid-October 2023, targeting organisations who embody cultural democracy through:

  • Placing communities at the heart of their work.
  • Supporting people from across their communities to develop their creativity and discover their individual voices.
  • Empowering their communities to work together to shape local place, shared identity, and collective agency.
  • Exploring new ways of connecting arts and society, particularly through fostering co-creation between communities, artists, and other partners.

Proposals are invited from new partnerships (Tier 1) or established partnerships (Tier 2). All partnerships must include at least one German partner and one UK partner, from any one of the four nations.

In mid-September 2023, in advance of the application period, the funders will be hosting facilitated match-making sessions to foster new partnerships between UK and German arts organisations. Interested groups should use the form to register their details before 1 September 2023.

More information can be found on the Cultural Bridge website.

Full application guidance will be published by 1 September 2023.
