Equalities Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Funding for Scotland’s Classical Music Sector

Funding is available to musicians and creatives within the classical music sector in Scotland for activities surrounding equalities, diversity, and inclusion.

The Classical EDI Development Fund is provided by Chamber Music Scotland, in partnership with Creative Scotland.

The aim of the Fund is to form a cohort of individuals who will undertake professional development activities that will inform and progress equalities, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) practices within Scotland’s classical music sector.

Grants of up to £2,500 are available to support a range of professional development activities and associated costs including travel, accommodation, event/conference tickets, access to research materials, etc.

Freelance musicians or creatives, or employees/representatives of organisations working within the classical music sector can apply. Applicants must be based in Scotland with a UK bank account in their or their organisation’s name.

Applications must be submitted by email by the deadline of 19 April 2023 (23:59 BST).
