Dumfries and Galloway – Regional Arts Fund
Closing Date: 15/01/2024
Grants are available to community groups, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations for regional arts projects within Dumfries and Galloway that benefit the local area.
The Regional Arts Fund aims to enhance the local creative sector by supporting high-quality initiatives that create positive social and economic outcomes for communities within Dumfries and Galloway.
Projects must focus on one of the following outcomes:
Outcome One – Connecting:
Supporting projects that bring the arts into the region and/or take our arts out with Dumfries and Galloway.
Outcome Two – Collaboration:
Through new or strengthened relationships with creative practitioners and/or groups from other creative disciplines, arts organisations will be given greater chances to develop new work or provide means for people to participate in the arts or other professional fields such as health, youth, and heritage.
Projects should support one of the following priorities:
- Promote and increase equality of access and benefit from the arts, with an emphasis on reaching the most vulnerable in the community.
- Help young people fulfil their potential through the arts.
- Contribute to the well-being of the region, whether that be economic, health or emotional well-being.
- Respond to climate change and transition to a carbon-neutral region.
