Launch of GambleAware’s Community Resilience Fund

Funding to address gambling-related harms which may have been exacerbated by the cost-of-living crisis in Great Britain.

Not-for-profit groups in England, Scotland and Wales can now apply for grants to address inequalities experienced by disadvantaged communities, particularly those who may be struggling with gambling harms in light of the current economic crisis.

There is a £1 million funding pot, with grants of up to £100,000 available.

Constituted organisations may apply as long as they are not currently funded by GambleAware, and have experience or knowledge of gambling harms or an adjacent field such as health inequalities, addictions or mental health.

Grants can be used to:

  • Develop or create an existing service/project.
  • Work with a new community.
  • Support innovation.
  • Develop or strengthen a new partnership within the community/local area.

There will be a Q&A webinar on 13 July 2022, 1pm to 2pm.

The deadline to apply is 12 noon on 28 July 2022.
