Hydrogen Sponsor Challenge

Capital funding is available for organisations to deliver a hydrogen hub in the North Wales region. The hub will include both the production and use of hydrogen to enable demand and help organisations switch from fossil fuels to hydrogen. 

The purpose is to bring onboard a sponsor that will develop the business case for the low carbon hydrogen hub.

The project is to develop, construct, commission, and operate a low carbon hydrogen production facility in north Wales- and ensure that the hydrogen is consumed by organisations for decarbonising their operations. Those organisations will either already be hydrogen[1]ready or they will have been made ready by the project.
