A £5 million funding pot has been made available to enable England-based mental health organisations from the voluntary and community sector to deal with the increase in need for their services arising from the coronavirus crisis.

Organisations can apply for either a Small Grant of up to £20,000 or a Large Grant of up to £50,000. The minimum grant available is £5,000. For organisations applying for work across at least three English regions grants of up to £100,000 will be considered.
Funding is for a maximum of 12 months. Successful applicants will be expected to start delivery of their activities within one month of accepting funding.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the funding pot is allocated (which is anticipated to be within eight to ten weeks).
There are cut-off dates for applications to be considered at specific panel meetings which take place every two weeks.
