BT Supports SMEs to Grow Following COVID-19

The BT Small Business Support Scheme is designed to help SMEs across the UK that have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. It is intended to enable firms to build their recovery and growth following COVID-19 and features a series of measures aimed at boosting connectivity, cash flow and confidence.

The scheme comprises a range of support strands, including:

Funding ultrafast business connections

Helping small businesses fund the cost of an ultrafast business connection by subsidising the total cost by up to £2,500 per customer. Interested parties can find out more from their local BT representative.

Launching bursaries for UK tech start-ups

A new bursary scheme to give 1,000 UK tech start-ups and entrepreneurs a financial head start. From October 2020, eligible companies can apply for a bursary to benefit from free fibre broadband and mobile bundles. Further details will be announced in due course.

Supporting small businesses through mentoring

A new mentoring scheme for small businesses, providing them with free access to expertise across strategy, marketing, sales, and more.
