Launch of COVID-19 £50K North East Business Rebuild Fund

Digital agency Blumilk helps North East businesses grow their brands, customers and revenue. Now, the company believes that people need to pull together to support the region’s economy.

At a time when many businesses are in financial difficulty, the agency has launched the £50K North East Business Rebuild Fund to give something back to the community. The scheme will help and support North East businesses to continue engaging with their customers and keep up staff morale following the COVID-19 outbreak.

The fund provides support in the form of consultancy time, which can be used towards anything a business needs help with, in the wake of the coronavirus crisis. This could include:

Marketing

Design

Business growth and strategy

Employee communication

Digital projects

Applicants are able to access up to 10 hours’ support per month, up to a maximum value of £6,000 over a six month period.

The fund is only able to support certain types of projects where external expertise is required to develop a business or to bridge a gap left within the workforce due to furloughed or redundant members of staff.

Applications are now invited. There is no set deadline at this stage.
