Organisations responsible for national heritage attractions have a two-week window to submit their application to this £34 million programme.
Grants range from £1 million to £10 million.
The funding is to be used for a project or programme of projects comprised of capital repair works, or discrete phases of capital works, that can be completed by 31 March 2021.

Applicants are expected to have sought and maximised alternative or partnership funding where it is available. Funding for programmes will be limited to a maximum of 80% of eligible works.
The Grants for Programmes of Major Works is part of the Heritage Stimulus Fund which forms part of the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund, a support package to protect the country's cultural, arts and heritage organisations in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
Applications will be accepted from 14 August until midnight on 28 August 2020.
