Fund Launched to Aid Recovery of East of England SMEs Affected by COVID-19

The EIRA Enabling Recovery Fund has been established to enable East of England businesses to respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) or support those looking to overcome current business challenges.

The scheme will provide project funding for businesses to work with academic experts in order to find solutions to their current challenges. This might include considering moving into a new market, the uptake of new technology to work efficiently online or developing a new product.

Funds of up to £6,000 are available for projects worth up to £7,500 that can be completed by March 2021.

Applications are invited from SME businesses based within EIRA’s geographical remit of the East of England. They should be requiring academic expertise to explore innovative solutions.

The deadline for applications to be submitted is 11 September 2020 (12:00 BST).
