Grants for the UK’s Best Energy Entrepreneurs

Energy services and solutions company Centrica is supporting entrepreneurs to help deliver affordable, accessible and reliable clean energy through its Energy for Tomorrow scheme.

Funds will be provided to start-ups that are creating innovative products and services that can accelerate the ‘energy transition’ from fossil-based to zero-carbon. This includes reducing CO2 emissions, changing societal and customer use of energy and helping communities improve their energy management.

Grants of between £100,000 and £500,000 will be awarded over a period of up to three years.

Applications are accepted from private, for-profit businesses, non-profit social companies, charities and community interest companies (CICs) from across the UK. Priority will be given to smaller organisations with turnover of less than £1 million and to projects focused on the UK.

Centrica will prioritise support to entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, including those who have traditionally not been well supported by the investment community.

Applications can be made at any time.
