The GRANTfinder database contains all the information necessary to find and apply for financial assistance; however, knowing how to use the system to best effect can impact greatly on the number of funding sources identified. Our courses are interactive, informative and fun. You will go away with a great deal of confidence and the ability to effectively extract the information you need from GRANTfinder. OptionsSector Specific CoursesThese one-day courses are held in the training room at the GRANTfinder offices in Worksop, Nottinghamshire Click here for venue location. The day is very intensive, and alternates between in-depth presentations and group activities on case studies. Each trainee is provided with their own laptop. The Foundation module teaches users the basics of how to use GRANTfinder whilst the Advanced module offers guidance on more advanced search techniques; the importance of linking an application to policy; and advice on submitting funding applications. This option is most suitable when you have 5 people who require more intensive training on how to use GRANTfinder. Course duration: up to 2 hours for each module. 1 GRANTfinder Foundation course for up to 5 people and 1 one-to-one Practitioner course for the main GRANTfinder administrator. The Practitioner guidance can take a more flexible format and involves the trainer offering support on rolling GRANTfinder out and promoting it across the wider organisation; compiling stats on usage; managing sub-user accounts; and personalising newsletters. This option is most suitable when: you have 5 people who require an introduction to GRANTfinder but who do not have the time to dedicate to a full day’s training; and a lead contact who wishes to become more confident in their role as GRANTfinder administrator.
